If a job creates a GDG file at step 2, and that file is referred in step 4, now if that job abends at step 3, than how the version is referred at step 4?

As the job got abend at step 3, and we need to restart the job at step 3, than the GDG file which was created at step 2, now will be treated with version (0) at step 4.
